Legal working group
Legal working group
The Legal Working Group deals with the applicable legal bases of data protection and develops proposals on how these can be implemented in professional practice. It also develops specific recommendations for legislative projects, for example.
The members draw up proposals for legislative amendments or new laws. In addition, the working group publishes statements on current data protection problems and their solutions.
The working group helps to ensure that data protection law is understandable and easier to apply in terms of protecting people’s personal rights.
Meetings
The Legal Working Group usually meets four times a year, each time on two days at different locations throughout Germany.
