Working group for waste disposal and utility companies

Data protection officers from municipal, regional and nationwide utilities and waste disposal companies as well as companies in the renewable energy sector are organized in the Working Group for Waste Disposal and Utilities (AK EVU).

The agenda of the AK EVU includes questions on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the new Federal Data Protection Act. It will also address industry-specific issues, such as the impact of KRITIS on utility companies.

Meetings
The EVU working group meets twice a year. The meetings usually last one day and run from 09:30 to around 16:30. The EVU working group is still looking for new members. If you are interested, please contact the spokesperson.
