Congresses and events, networking, benefits and services As the largest and oldest professional association in the industry, we have been networking politics, business, supervisory authorities and privacy professionals for 36 years – at regional, national and European level. The BvD represents the interests of data protection officers, data protection auditors, data protection coordinators and other support staff in the field of data protection. We are the only association in Germany to actively promote the further acceptance of the profession of “data protection officer”.
