General Terms and Conditions of the BvD e.V. for Events

1. Scope of Application

The General Terms and Conditions apply to all events organized and held by the BvD e.V. for which a fee is charged.

2. Registration and Confirmation

Registrations must be made in writing (by letter, fax, e-mail or online). The execution of the event will be confirmed in writing.

3. Execution

Event prices include working documents, certificate of participation, lunch/snack and beverages.

The gross prices quoted include the statutory VAT of 19%, which will be shown on the invoice.

4. Payment

The event price is payable without deduction within eight days of receipt of the invoice, quoting the invoice number.

5. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 21 days before the start of the event. In case of a cancellation received less than 21 days before the start of the event and in case of non-participation, the full event price will be due. A substitute can be named without incurring additional costs.

A rebooking to another event within one year is possible. In this case, an additional 50 € will be due as a processing fee. Differences of the event price will be charged.

6. Cancellation by the Organizer

The BvD e.V. reserves the right to cancel open events if the number of participants is too low and to offer alternative dates if possible. Participants will be informed immediately of any changes in this regard. In this case, the seminar fee already paid will be refunded. The content and schedule of the seminar program as well as the assignment of the trainers can be changed while maintaining the overall character of the event. This does not entitle the participants to withdraw from the contract or to a reduction of the invoice amount.

In the event of cancellation of the event due to illness of the trainer, force majeure or other unforeseeable events, there is no claim to the implementation of the seminar. This also applies to the claim for compensation of travel and accommodation costs as well as loss of work. There is also no liability for indirect damages, especially loss of profit or claims of third parties.

7. Advertising

Any type of advertising during or in connection with the event requires the prior written consent of the BvD e.V.

8. Data Collection

In the course of its business activities, the BvD e.V. uses data processing equipment and stores participant data to the extent necessary for its business and permissible under the Federal Data Protection Act. The participant acknowledges and agrees that the BvD e.V. may collect, process and use his/her data for association purposes and for advertising. The participant may object to the use of his/her data for advertising purposes at any time.

Advertising by e-mail requires the express consent of the participant. The name and company of the participants may be made available to the event participants in a list of participants.

9. General Information

The BvD e.V. has the right to document events in whole or in part in picture and sound for the purposes of quality assurance and reporting. At the same time, the BvD e.V. reserves the right to make changes with regard to speakers, content, dates and location, without this giving rise to any claims of any kind.
