BayLDA questionnaire: Are you ready for the GDPR?
Half-time en route to the European Data Protection Act
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was promulgated on 25 May, 2016. It will, however, only enter into effect on 25 May, 2018. This means that half the preparation time for the new law expired on 25 May, 2017. The BayLDA [Bavarian Data Protection Authority] will on this day distribute a test questionnaire about the future law to approx. 150 Bavarian companies, allowing them to assess the state of their preparations for the new law.
These questions focus on the implementation of the GDPR and elicit no response, but they may be used as a measure of internal implementation.
