BayLDA questionnaire also in English

With its Questionnaire on the implementation of the GDPR, issued one year in advance of the GDPR [General Data Protection Regulation] entering into force, the BayLDA [Bavarian Data Protection Authority] invited numerous data protection officers on 24.05.2017 to examine the current status of amendment work themselves and/or to point out to those responsible and order processors any issues which could potentially lead to serious sanctions should they not have been adequately addressed in a year’s time.

The GDPR will not, of course, change § 23 I VwVfG [§ 23 (1) Verwaltungsverfahrensgesetz [Administrative Procedure Act]:  the official language is German]. The BayLDA has now, however, kindly published the questionnaire in English, too, to allow responsible foreign entities or order processors to make comparisons.
